Baptisms arrangements may be made prior to or shortly after the birth of your child. Parents must be registered members of the parish and participate in the Baptismal Preparation Conference which is generally held the Thursday evening before scheduled Baptisms.
Sponsors
Parents, aided by the sponsors, are to instruct their child in the practice of the faith, teaching them God’s commandments as Christ taught us and to help them live a virtuous life.
Therefore, parents should choose at least one, but not more than two, sponsors for their child, keeping in mind the following canonical requirements:
- At least 16 years old
- A Catholic who has received the Sacrament of Confirmation and practices their faith
- If there will be two sponsors, they must be of opposite gender
- If a sponsor is married, the marriage must be recognized by the Church.
Sponsors are encouraged to attend the Baptismal Preparation Conference at Our Lady of Peace Church or in their own parish.

Baptisms are celebrated either on Sundays at 2:00 PM in the church or during a regularly scheduled Sunday Mass. The afternoon celebrations are limited to six children and are scheduled as follows:
