Helping Horses – January

Dear Parishioners,
The 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Grades will be collecting items for the Bergen County Horse  Rescue Center through January. The patron saint that we are honoring is Saint Martin of Tours who is the patron saint of horses.
The Bergen County Horse Rescue Center is a rehabilitation and retirement home for horses that have fallen on hard times. Some of the horses that they take care of have been abused. In many cases, people thought that it would be a great idea to get a horse as gift for someone without thinking about all the costs involved.
The Horse Rescue Center needs the following items which can be brought to the school until January 20:

Gift cards to Home Depot & Lowe’s
Small First-Aid kits
Latex gloves (size medium)
Antibacterial hand soap
Flashlights and batteries
Recyclable lawn and leaf bags
Large plastic trash bags
Cases of bottled water
Mane & Tail shampoo and conditioner

Why Register as a Parishioner?

WHY REGISTER?
Every Catholic should be registered in a parish. Beside the active support and involvement that the registration enables, the parish registration is also a mandatory condition for many sacraments including Baptism and Matrimony. *It is therefore important to register at your local parish as soon as you start worshiping there regularly.
 You may request verification letters to sponsor individuals for sacraments,
receive sacraments yourself or your child (i.e. marriage, baptism).
 You will receive end-of-the-year tax contribution statements.
 The Archdiocese will know that our parish has a healthy base of registered,
supportive parishioners.

To register in the parish, please visit the Rectory or print out the

Parish-Registration-Form

on our website, fill it out and return it to the rectory.

*You are not automatically registered if you made your Sacraments here as a child or went to the school.
