OLP has been helping those experiencing home insecurity for many years. We have played an active part of the community response in Union County through our close partnership with Family Promise. We organize, with pride, evenings filled with hot nutritious meals, lively conversation and meaningful interaction along with a welcoming warm bed. Furthermore, we have joined forces with neighboring congregations to bring more efficient hosting assignments which enables our guests to stay in one location for 7 nights.

In this rather challenging post pandemic era, we have “tweaked” our operating methods and are collecting monetary contributions and then delivering meals to the needy at their respective dwellings mostly in Elizabeth and Linden.
